My journey as an educator began with a clear vision: to help grow the future leaders of tomorrow.
Along the way, I have been supported by a diverse group of individuals who have inspired and shaped me into the person I am today.
In my spare time, I enjoy being with whānau, listening to music, engaging in the arts, and reconnecting with nature these are the ways I unwind and recharge.
What I truly cherish about my job are the meaningful relationships I’ve built, and the new connections that continue to enrich my path.

At Active Explorers Melville, we’re all about growing confident, capable tamariki through meaningful relationships, cultural pride and a strong sense of community. Our passionate kaiako work alongside whānau to support each child’s unique learning journey and celebrate their individuality.
Our centre is thoughtfully designed with age-appropriate indoor and outdoor areas that spark curiosity and creativity. Located in peaceful Melville, we’re just a stone’s throw from Waikato Hospital, local schools and parks – making drop-offs and pick-ups a breeze.
Inside, our rooms are tailored to different stages of development, helping tamariki learn at their own pace. From gentle sensory play for pēpi to engaging school-prep activities for our older explorers, each day is filled with discovery, fun, and opportunities for whānau to be part of the magic.
