Kia ora
My name is Tracey! The amazing team at Learning Adventures Ashhurst include a mixture of degree trained early child education and primary trained teachers, teacher in training along with educators resulting in an extensive and varied array of skills that benefit all tamariki in our service.
With well over 30+ years combined dedication, the teaching team continue to foster nurturing relationships with all children, whanau and our community.
Our teaching team choose to work here, in an environment that is welcoming, open, responsive and well resourced. The centre chooses teachers that demonstrate daily aroha, manaakitanga, passion who love the surrounding environment that want the best for each child in their care.
What makes us special
About Learning Adventures Ashhurst
At Learning Adventures Ashhurst, we focus on nurturing a love for nature and learning. Our sustainability-focused approach helps children develop environmental awareness and a deep connection to the natural world.
Our centre features spacious outdoor areas, a secret garden, and is just a short walk away from the beautiful Ashhurst Domain, making it the perfect place for tamariki to learn through adventure and discovery.
Centre life is relaxed and engaging, with low group numbers and dedicated spaces for different age groups. We regularly explore local bush walks, grow vegetables, and take part in community events.
Our programme is designed to support every stage of development through nature-based play and strong relationships.
