Welcome to Learning Adventures Mangere East. We’re a whānau-focused childcare centre where tamariki aged 2 to 6 years learn and grow in a safe, supportive environment. With a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, we celebrate each child’s individuality, making learning fun, creative, and meaningful.

My name is Anne! With over 16 years of experience in early childhood education, I bring a deep passion and a wide range of knowledge to my role. I'm dedicated to supporting and inspiring those around me, always looking for opportunities to help others grow and shine. I believe in creating a positive, encouraging environment where everyone feels valued.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and loved ones. These moments help me recharge and stay grounded. I’m proud to be part of a team that shares my commitment to nurturing children and supporting each other every step of the way.

About Learning Adventures Mangere East

At Learning Adventures Mangere East, we’re all about creating a space where your tamariki can thrive through play, exploration, and learning. With a Reggio Emilia approach, we listen to each child’s interests and needs, building a curriculum that supports their unique journey.

Our centre is full of open spaces, where children can be curious, creative, and connected to their culture and community. We also offer a free van service to help our local families, as well as healthy meals and snacks to keep tamariki energised throughout the day.

We’re a close-knit community that celebrates diversity, culture, and whānau. Our tamariki enjoy a variety of activities, including story time, outdoor fun, and regular trips to local places like Mangere Mountain and the library. It's all about having fun and learning together.

Our team at Learning Adventures Mangere East is made up of passionate, caring educators who are committed to supporting tamariki and their whānau. With over 17 years of experience, we work closely with families to ensure every child is loved, valued, and supported in their learning journey.

Our Rooms

Our Spaces

Our centre is designed with tamariki in mind, creating a warm, safe, and fun environment where they can explore, play, and learn. From quiet corners for reading to open spaces for creative play, our centre is all about providing the right setting for tamariki to grow and discover.

2 - 3 years

Home Base Room

This room is all about giving our younger tamariki a safe, quiet space to explore and play. We offer sensory activities, arts, and gentle group time to help build their confidence and independence.

3 - 4 years

Discovery Room

The Discovery Room is full of hands-on activities where tamariki can explore, create, and problem-solve. From role play to nature-based learning, children get to follow their curiosity and develop important skills along the way.

4 - 6 years

Explorers Room

For our older tamariki, the Explorers Room is all about adventure and learning. Here, they take on bigger challenges, work together on group projects, and get ready for school through fun, engaging activities that support their growth and development.
