Meet our Centre Manager

Kia ora
My name is Robert! I’ve lived in Te Puke for over nine years and love being part of our diverse community. I’m married with three children and a grandchild.
I’ve worked in early childhood education for over 20 years, beginning in childcare, then training and teaching in Rudolf Steiner kindergartens across the North Island before returning to the Bay of Plenty. I’ve been with Learning Adventures for over six years, with three in a management role.
I'm passionate about making a difference in children’s lives. What sets us apart is our dedicated team, diverse whānau, and the rich cultural learning we experience daily.
What makes us special
About Learning Adventures Te Puke
At Learning Adventures Te Puke, we believe every child brings their own spark, and we’re here to help it shine. We focus on child-led learning, strong whānau partnerships, and creating a place where every tamaiti feels seen, heard, and valued.
Our centre is filled with large natural play spaces made for real childhood adventures. Tamariki can climb, dig, bug hunt, kick a ball, or just find a quiet spot to relax. We’re close to local parks and part of a tight-knit, diverse community where connections are real and lasting.
We keep it simple with just two rooms, one for under threes and one for over threes. This helps create strong foundations and smooth transitions, with every child learning and growing at their own pace in an environment that truly feels like theirs.
