Welcome to Lollipops Paraparaumu, a warm and welcoming early learning centre in Paraparaumu. We offer quality care and education for babies, toddlers and preschoolers in a multicultural, family-focused environment where children feel safe, supported and inspired every day.

Meet our Centre Manager

Kia ora

My name is Becca, I am the Centre Manager here at Lollipops Paraparaumu. I was born in Portsmouth, England and moved to New Zealand with my whanau in 2005. I now live on the Kapiti coast, where I live with my husband and our BIG dogs. I spend most of my free time catching up with family and friends as whānau is very important to me.

I have worked at Lollipops Paraparaumu since July 2017 and have worked across all age groups during this time. I am very proud to call Lollipops my home away from home where everyone is welcomed and loved for who they are and what they bring.

I look forward to working alongside you and your whānau and welcoming you to our centre.

About Lollipops Paraparaumu

At Lollipops Paraparaumu, we focus on strong whānau connections, celebrating diversity, and embracing sustainability. We believe tamariki thrive when they feel seen, valued and supported to grow at their own pace.

Our centre has been purpose-built to support learning in natural, open spaces. With solar panels, recycling programmes, and a location near the local stream and walkway, we make the most of our beautiful surroundings to support outdoor exploration and hands-on learning.

Each day is full of connection and discovery. Children are grouped by age to ensure their learning is developmentally appropriate, and our programme includes themed days, excursions to local parks, and celebrations like Matariki, Christmas and Mother’s and Father’s Day.

We have a passionate and experienced team who create a loving, inclusive environment where children and families feel truly at home. Many of our teachers have been with us for years and bring a wide range of talents, from music and sport to art and storytelling.

Our Rooms

Our centre is full of natural light, open spaces and cosy nooks where tamariki can learn, play and explore. Indoors and outdoors flow beautifully together, offering calm corners, active zones and plenty of space for imagination to thrive.

0-2 years

Kiwi

Kiwi is a gentle, nurturing space designed especially for our youngest pēpi. With loving kaiako, soft play areas and familiar routines, babies feel safe and cared for as they begin their learning journey.

2-3 years

Fantail

Fantail supports busy toddlers who love to explore. Through play, movement and social interaction, they build confidence and start learning how to express themselves in a fun, caring environment.

3-4 years

Tūī

Tūī is a space for curiosity, creativity and connection. Here, tamariki enjoy open-ended learning, group play and learning experiences that support their growing independence and imagination.

4-5 years

Kea

Kea helps prepare tamariki for school by building on their social and emotional skills. With nature walks, storytelling, and a focus on early literacy and numeracy, children learn through real-life experiences that build resilience and confidence.
