I'm Lalita, the Centre Manager at Lollipops Swanson.

With over 15 years of experience in early childhood education, I’m passionate about creating positive team culture, building strong, meaningful relationships, and ensuring happy Tamariki and whānau.

I've truly enjoyed my time at Lollipops Swanson and being part of the incredible growth we've achieved as a team. I’m excited to continue this journey and look forward to working alongside you and your whānau.

About Lollipops Swanson

At Lollipops Early Learning Centre, we focus on family engagement, community connections, and diversity, ensuring every child feels valued and supported. Our Reggio Emilia-inspired approach creates an environment where children explore their interests, learn at their own pace, and develop strong social and emotional skills.

We provide a spacious, purpose-built environment with both indoor and outdoor play areas designed for different age groups. Children have ample space to explore, from gardens to dedicated play zones, encouraging creativity, physical activity, and independence.

Centre life is vibrant, with different age groups enjoying age-appropriate learning experiences throughout the day. Our babies enjoy calm, gentle exploration, while toddlers and preschoolers take on exciting challenges that promote teamwork, leadership, and curiosity, fostering teina and tuakana relationships.

Our team is passionate, experienced, and committed to creating a loving and supportive environment where children and families feel at home. We pride ourselves on building strong, positive relationships with every child and their family, valuing communication and collaboration.

Our Rooms

Our spacious, purpose-built centre is designed to meet the unique needs of each age group. With inviting indoor and outdoor spaces, children enjoy daily opportunities to engage in creative play, physical learning experiences, and social interactions, all within a safe and nurturing environment.

0–2 years

Mānuka

The Mānuka room provides a calm and supportive environment for infants to explore at their own pace. With sensory-rich learning experiences and a safe, cosy outdoor space, we encourage independent exploration and bonding with caregivers.

2-3 years

Kōwhai

In the Kowhai room, toddlers thrive through hands-on fun. With a variety of creative learning experiences and opportunities for social play, children develop important skills like communication, problem-solving, and emotional regulation.

3–5 years

Rimu

The Rimu room fosters independence and curiosity in preschoolers. With engaging projects, physical challenges, and a strong focus on developing social skills, children are encouraged to take initiative and explore the world around them.
