Welcome to Pascals St Johns, a warm and welcoming childcare centre in St Johns, Auckland. We offer quality education and care for infants, toddlers, and young learners, with a strong focus on creativity, cultural diversity, and school readiness in a peaceful, purpose-built environment.

Meet our Centre Manager

Kia ora

My name is Rose. I’ve been working for Evolve for the past four years as the Family Engagement Manager.

I’m originally from Australia and have worked in the early childhood sector in New Zealand for over 30 years.

I have four adult children and 11 grandchildren.

I'm very excited to be joining the team here at Pascals St Johns and look forward to meeting you all soon.

I'm really looking forward to being a part of your children's learning journey and seeing them enjoy their time at the centre while learning at their own pace.

About Pascals St Johns

At Pascals St Johns, we nurture curiosity, creativity, and imagination through a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach that encourages children to express themselves in many different ways. We celebrate cultural diversity and place each child and their family at the heart of everything we do.

Our calm, purpose-built centre sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in an industrial part of St Johns. Surrounded by natural spaces like Waiatarua Reserve and St John’s Bush, our setting offers a peaceful environment perfect for learning and discovery.

Children are grouped by age to support their unique developmental needs. From infants to preschoolers, our rooms provide rich learning experiences, playful exploration, and social interaction. We also offer a Ready for School programme to support a smooth transition into primary education.

Our Team

We have a caring and experienced team who create a safe, loving environment where families feel supported and respected. Some of our teachers have been with us for many years, bringing consistency, passion, and a deep understanding of each child's learning journey.

Our Rooms

Our centre is calm, inviting, and designed to encourage children to explore freely and express their ideas. From quiet reading corners to hands-on discovery areas, every space is thoughtfully set up for learning through play.

0–2 years

Kiwi Room

In the Kiwi Room, our youngest learners are nurtured in a calm, cosy environment with caring teachers who follow each child’s individual routine. The space is designed to support sensory exploration, secure attachments, and gentle developmental growth.

2-3 years

Tui Room

The Tui Room supports curious toddlers as they begin to explore more independently. Children enjoy activities that develop communication, social interaction, and problem-solving through play, all within a safe and responsive environment.

3–5 years

Fantail Room

In the Fantail Room, preschoolers engage in deeper learning through project work, creative arts, and our Ready for School programme. The space encourages collaboration, confidence, and thinking skills to help prepare tamariki for the next stage in their learning journey.
